Beginners’ membership & beginners’ class
Are you curious about Taekwondo and wondering if it is right for you? Parents, have you been considering the benefits of Taekwondo for your child? For just $39, our Beginners’ Membership is a great way to try out our taekwondo classes and get in touch with your inner ninja! This special membership includes a BBA uniform ($40 value) and allows new students to stay in the beginners' class until ready to test for their white belt. Our experienced instructors will teach you everything you need to know to confidently learn the basics of taekwondo. It’s virtually risk-free, and we think you will not be disappointed!
The beginners’ class meets weeknights, Monday through Friday, from 6:10 - 6:40 p.m. Just come into the studio 15-20 minutes before class starts on the evening you would like to begin.* (Allow approximately 10 minutes per person who will be enrolling.) Once you arrive, we will get you registered, go over a few basic Taekwondo rules, and fit you for your uniform. (Wear or bring a short-sleeve t-shirt to wear under your uniform. A dressing room is available for changing. No shoes and socks are allowed on the mat during class.)
Students should attend the beginners’ class until ready to test for their white belt. Most students are ready to test after 6-8 classes. Once the white belt has been achieved, students may purchase a regular membership and can attend any of the All-Belts classes we offer.
*Please note that approximately every 6 weeks, the beginners’ class is canceled on a Friday evening for group belt testing. If you plan on starting classes on a Friday evening, please contact the office to ensure we will be offering the beginners’ class that evening.
